Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse-Telemetry/PCU (p/t; evenings with weekend rotation)assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care members. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participation in the Quality Improvement process is expected.
Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma.
Experience: Graduate of RN school of nursing; current Florida RN license; ACLS required within one year.
Skills: Good organizational, critical thinking, communication skills in a detail-oriented, multi-tasks, customer focused organization.
